Surfers of Google Earth can now view the works from the Prado in fine detail. The upside of this is that these works are presented with a resolution of 14,000 megapixels, and you can zoom in on any area you choose allowing you to see parts of paintings you would never be able to see in person with the naked eye. Now of course looking at art on a screen is never a substitute for seeing it in person, but I suppose if you can’t get yourself to Spain this is better than not seeing them at all.
