Here it is Sunday and I’m’ prepping the Monday blog entry trying in vain to add something interesting. I feel like i’m back in kidhood, fabricating a bunch of lies and trespasses that I’ll “confess” to via a weird wooden cubicle to some apparently forgiving person, aka the priest. anyway I digress. It’s my way of stating that I spent my studio days organizing and not really making any art. I still carry a camera EVERYWHERE, however, it’s really the camera on my phone that continues to work as an idea sketching tool. To that end, here’s a picture i took and processed with a couple apps. i printed it 6″x6″ and it looks pretty damn good.

I share an image below that’s part a show in New York City opening Oct 6, called “While You Wait...”, curated by the gifted artist and writer, Brian Dupont. I’m with an outstanding group of artists; Laura Isaac, Christopher Moss, Maritza Ruiz-Kim, and Jason Varone. If you’re near the city, stop by and have a look.
This is from an ongoing series that explores these little bits of nature intersecting with the hardscapes of the city
