Gossip and Rumors
This piece is comprised almost entirely of pages from some celebrity gossip magazine someone left at my house (I’m not naming names). There are a couple pieces of painting to add relative negative space, but that’s it. Sorry for the glare on the photo.
“Gossip” 18″ x 24″ Mixed Media Collage
The design is comprised of nested hexagons. The piece was a rarity for me, in that I started it and finished it in almost the same day. I did a few touch ups last night, but otherwise the entire thing got done on Sunday.
Any feedback is welcomed. I would love to be able to do things this quickly more often, but am a little suspicious about my ability to think in the detail I like to give to things in such an abbreviated time frame.

i like it. i think it works, and i really like the sort of 3D op-art effect of segments advancing and receding. the colors make me happy, but what kind of person would read that trash anyway?
