Consumer Detritus: Regretsy
A huge number of artists and craftspeople worldwide market their handmade creations on the online site Etsy. A lot of it, most of it, like most man-made stuff in general, is crap. Regretsy is my new favorite blog. Some of this is art. Well maybe very little of it is. The rat is kinda tasty.

Although I am someone who sells their crap on Etsy, I must admit I have been rather sheltered to my little world of what I make and what my firls make. I don’t browse the listings or make little collections and had little idea what else was out there.
I thank you, even though you indirectly made hot tea come out of my nose and I’m pretty sure I snorted in a rather embarrassing way, I haven’t chortled this early in the morning in ages!

P.S. Is it wrong that I now want to make something so ridiculously bad that it gets on that site? I mean, really, really, bad – like a dried potato and carrot cube necklace or something equally asinine.
