patterns

I opened a new etsy shop. I have so much older art just taking up storage space, I figured I might as well see if anyone wants it. Its nice that etsy lets you run two different shops and it doesn’t cost that much to list. I was going to try ebay, but I wasn’t very impressed with the art I saw there and I already have experience with etsy.
This shop will be filled with mostly art, but I was also considering making some decorative pillows. I made a few quilted pillows for gifts and I really like the way they turned out.  I also plan to get some custom printed fabric from spoonflower.com to make some pillow from.  Here are a few patterns I was considering.  I’m not sure which to try out first.

  1. The second is my favorite right now, but I imagine the ultimate test is what you want to match them with.

  2. I decided to go with the first one. The pattern is actually a lot more blown up than it appears in my example here and I felt like it most fit in with my old paintings. I will report back on how it turns out. I’ve heard mostly good things. Although, it sound like the colors often change quite a bit, but that is to be expected with most printing, I think.

i love the first one. i ordered a couple of swatches from spoonflower and the colors did change a bit, but the fabric still looked good.
