these next two are mostly just me playing with wax. i don’t know exactly where this is headed but i tend to do alot of small sketchy stuff, bits of which eventually filter into my more focused work. i figured i’d post them anyway as a sort of glimpse into an overall process.

I like the personality of both and kinda see the little ones done larger sometime in the future. I’ve recently stopped being reticent about looking at “exercises” larger , reminded of an old russian language professor telling us, “Make mistakes loud! Who learns from mumbling?”

the wax gets pretty thick on those two in the middle. i like how it works but i dunno what i’m gonna do with that element yet…
