Interesting. When I saw it, I thought immediately "Western". It reminds me of a western film where there are a bunch of buffaloes stampeding directly towards us (with the camera in the center, so they swarm around us). Back and to the left is a cowboy riding on his horse.... and at the rear is the cloud of dust from all the hooves kicking the earth up.....

this is why i have grown to love making abstract art! i am really enjoying hearing the differences in ambiguous narratives and interpretations. i never thought i would be able to participate in abstract art because my brain tends to be literal and i also have a fear of blank white paper, so finding a way to work with my camera has been such a relief. now i can join the abstract party!

oh and andrew, i used to have the same problem with a particularly busy and menacing floral wall paper in my mothers bedroom. devil faces every 2 feet.

I see a woman leaning over backward with her head turned to the left to receive a kiss, her left arm reaching to wrap around the head of her lover. And the whole thing gives me a feel of a creepy Klimt painting with the gold and the lights all turned off. It's Klimt meets Bertold Brecht.

But don't go by me. I keep think theres a figure in the neighbors yard as I drive by it every night. Have for five years! When it's just a stone pier with a boulder on top. I just can't get used to it.
