New Photographs
With all of the crazy weather this last week in the midwest, I was inspired to start a study of atmospheric effects using photography. So far, it is interesting to me how these images evoke early impressionists like Turner. We’ll see what develops, but I plan on getting precipitated on a lot this next year.

I have no idea how you got these shots, but they are all beautiful. Like Toni’s photos, they are great abstract compositions that would work in any medium.

you know, these have alot in common with your abstract drawings. they both have these wonderfully minimal compositions defined by light and dark and an overall texture, and the effect of the light being broken up by the rain here resembles your mark making. how cool is that?! well, really freaking if you ask me!
