Backpedaling Promise, paper collage, 5 ½ x 7 ¾ in, 2008

This is the first collage in the series of figurative pieces that I’m currently working on. It was made back in June of this year. I think the themes of the series are basically man, masculinity, and nature.

I had done a series of digital collages based on mythological figures the previous year. Its kind of interesting to compare.
